(1) Baluster-form Japanese Satsuma-style ceramic vase decorated in polychrome enamel and raised moriage gilt detailing, depicting women in traditional kimono on a veranda overlooking water surrounded by geometric and brocade patterns. The vessel is designed with a matte black neck and pedestal foot finished with gold-painted rims. The base is marked in red with double blue concentric rings and reads "HAND PAINTED" and "JAPAN" alongside a maker's mark.
